Ba Be Jungle Marathon is organized and operated by Bac Kan Tourism Association in corporation with Mr Linh's Adventures travel company. BJM was held for the first time in 2021 sponsored by the People's Committee of Bac Kan province. It shows our love and enthusiasm in promoting marathon activities in Bac Kan in particular and in the whole country territory in general. We are confident that Bac Kan is an extremely attractive environment as well as a destination for avid runners nationwide.

Organizing the first ever marathon race in Ba Be National Park is our aim to share the magnificent and pristine beauty of nature and the lovely local people here to the nature lovers. Over the past decade, Mr Linh’s Adventures has been one of the pioneers in making Ba Be an ideal destination for adventure trips and organizing Ba Be Jungle Marathon is also a part of the plan.

Through this fantastic race, we hope that the unique yet amusing culture and tradition of the local ethnic people in Bac Kan will be delivered not only to the runners who attend but also to their families, friends, sport aficionados and travelers.

The main purpose of this race is to promote Bac Kan image and support the development of the local community as well as the province Non-Government Organizations. After the race, parts of the fund will be used to support families with difficult circumstances, construct and remodel schools for poor children, plant trees to recover the damaged hills within Ba Be National Park and buy dust bins, eco-friendly equipment.
